We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep our production machinery, printing units, and facility equipment running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. What You'll Do:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and production machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical failures (motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors).

  • Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose issues quickly.

  • Work with hand/power tools, hoists, and multimeters while keeping detailed logs in our CMMS.

  • Help mentor and guide Maintenance Apprentices on safe work practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/packaging (paper industry experience is a big plus!).

  • Mechanical skills with basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and 120V electrical systems.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (technical cert or Associate’s degree preferred).

  • Great problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

- All duties of Maintenance Apprentice plus the following:

- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical failures during production shifts; replace defective components (motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors).

- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.

- Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, hoists, and multimeters to diagnose issues.

- Document all work order details, PM completion, and parts inventory usage in the CMMS.

- Assist in training and guiding Maintenance Apprentices in safe work practices and basic repairs.
