Job description

This position is responsible for providing general maintenance and construction as assigned and dispatched by the company to our clients. Upon arrival at the assigned project, the Maintenance Technician must visually assess and troubleshoot the maintenance issue in order to correctly make the necessary repairs. The Maintenance Technician will determine what equipment is needed and the scope of the job as it relates to the following areas: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, landscaping, or drainage. After assessing what is necessary to repair the issue, the Maintenance Technician must order all parts, supplies, and equipment as necessary. Tools that will be used range from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precise measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
The Maintenance Technician must work collaboratively with vendors, Property Managers, and others within the company while also being able to work independently on each assigned task.
