Job description

Opportunity:
The Electrical Project Engineer will provide project engineering, project management, facilities engineering and electrical engineering discipline to support plant operations and manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or similar.
Experience: 3-5 years in project management; 3-5 years experience in an industrial environment (preferred); 5 plus years in project management (preferred).
Areas of Knowledge: Electronics, Power Distribution, CAD Drafting, Facilities Engineering (preferred).
Skills: Project Management, Electrical Troubleshooting, Technical Writing, Computer Operations, Communications and Print Reading.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Project management, including supervision, tracking, accounting and auditing.
  • Prepare AFE (Authorization For Expenditure) for Capital projects.
  • Develop work scope, engineering specifications and project scheduling.
  • Manage plant power distribution system and electrical utilities, schedule testing, maintain documentation and supervise improvements.
  • Manage plant energy monitoring system.
  • Maintain electrical drawings manually and via our CAD system.
