Responsibilities

  • Create and modify industrial control panel drawings in AutoCAD Electrical under the direction of the Electrical Engineering team
  • Update drawings per markups during the project lifecycle
  • Support panel building and on-site commissioning activities
  • Work to a variety of standards, equipment, and components on a project-by-project basis
  • Assist in the creation, testing, and maintenance of automated drafting and design tools in AutoCAD Electrical

Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum GPA of a 3.4
  • 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPlan
  • Technically proficient in using software applications such as Microsoft 365, etc.
  • Experience drawing industrial control panels
  • Ability to effectively apply all drafting standards, practices, and procedures
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Self-motivated with a high level of commitment; able to work independently and as a team player
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

ITAR Requirements (Preferred)
To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at DMC must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e. current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1157-1158.
