About the Role:

What Youโ€™ll Do (Responsibilities):

Your days will be diverse and engaging, spanning across project coordination, compliance, and essential team support:

  • Project & Schedule Logistics: Mastermind our job scheduling and calendars using Microsoft Outlook and Excel to keep our teams moving smoothly.
  • Bid & Bond Management: Navigate bidding platforms to identify new general contractor opportunities and coordinate project bonding requirements.
  • Compliance & Permitting Champion: Act as our regulatory anchor by managing environmental, stormwater, discharge, and multi-state work eligibility compliance.
  • Job Prep & Field Support: Set our field crews up for success by coordinating equipment rentals, ordering job supplies, and assisting with manpower planning.
  • Subcontractor Administration: Serve as a key point of contact by managing subcontractor agreements and contracts.
  • Payroll & Wage Awareness: Keep a pulse on our internal payroll processes and maintain a solid understanding of prevailing wage guidelines.

What Youโ€™ll Bring (Qualifications):

We are looking for someone details-oriented, organized, and ready to dive into the construction world:

  • Experience: 3+ years of administrative support experience (experience in construction, engineering, or trades is a huge plus!).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or other 4 year degree (experience in construction, engineering, or trades is a huge plus!).
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel) and comfortable learning specialized bid management or scheduling software.
  • Skills: Top-tier time management, sharp attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: A foundational understanding of contract administration, regulatory permitting, and basic payroll/prevailing wage processes.

Company Description

Work is for an industrial waterjet company based on St. Paul, MN. We use ultra high pressure water to complete industrial hydrodemolition, hydro scarification, hydroblasting, etc. projects primarily for municipalties or general contractors working on municipal projects. You will work under the direct supervision of the Iron Eagle HydroTech Program Manager.
