Senior Electrical Project Manager

Twin Cities, MN Area | Hybrid Flexibility

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a well-established and growing electrical contractor in the Twin Cities market that is actively looking to add a Senior Electrical Project Manager to their team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced electrical construction professional who can independently manage projects, build strong client relationships, and contribute to continued growth across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial work.

Position Overview

The Senior Electrical Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating with owners, general contractors, field teams, and internal leadership.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through completion
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, forecasting, and project execution
  • Coordinate with clients, GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and documentation
  • Support estimating and preconstruction activities as needed
  • Attend project meetings and provide field support
  • Maintain strong client relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Mentor junior PMs and support team development
  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities and expanding relationships
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing commercial electrical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
  • Experience working directly with GCs, owners, and field teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Estimating or preconstruction experience is a plus
  • Existing industry relationships highly valued
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with regular jobsite visits
  • Hybrid flexibility available (typically 3 days in-office / 2 remote)
  • Minimal overnight travel
  • Majority of projects located throughout the Twin Cities market
