Senior Electrical Construction Project Manager

Location: U.S. - Heavy Travel / Project-Based
Travel: ~60%
Salary: ~$110K-$160K + bonus

The Role

A national specialty electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction and power-generation projects from estimating through completion.

This is a highly client-facing role with significant ownership of scope, budgets, scheduling, estimating, safety, subcontractors and project P&L.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from proposal/estimating through closeout
  • Evaluate RFQs, develop scopes and project budgets
  • Manage schedules, costs, change orders and project performance
  • Coordinate clients, subcontractors, engineers and internal teams
  • Lead onsite execution and ensure safety, quality and profitability
  • Support estimating and proposal development
  • Manage project closeout and lessons learned
Ideal Background
  • 5-7+ years in power generation, industrial electrical or specialty electrical construction
  • 3-5+ years as a construction PM with P&L responsibility
  • Experience managing complex electrical projects
  • Strong estimating, financial and client-management skills
  • Union construction experience preferred
  • OSHA 30 or ability to obtain
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work onsite
