This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and brings creative thinking to complex learning and business challenges.

What will your typical day look like?

This individual will contribute to end-to-end learning initiatives. While we leverage a variety of learning modalities, this role primarily designs facilitator-led and cohort-based learning experiences (virtual and in-person), rather than standalone e-learning solutions, that help our people build leadership, professional, and strategic capabilities.

They will partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to design workshops, learning journeys, classroom and virtual instructor-led experiences, participant materials, facilitator guides, and supporting resources that drive meaningful behaviour change and business outcomes.

The role requires strong learning design capability, solid project execution skills, and the ability to work effectively across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Success in this role requires comfort navigating ambiguity, identifying opportunities, and moving initiatives forward with a high degree of ownership and judgment. The ideal candidate brings a creative and solution-oriented mindset, finding practical and innovative approaches to deliver meaningful learning outcomes.

About the team

The Strategic Projects & Design team brings Deloitte’s learning strategy to life—partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to build programs that accelerate priorities, strengthen leadership capabilities, and prepare our people for what’s next. We drive end-to-end learning design, from needs analysis and curriculum concepting through delivery and evaluation, with strong emphasis on leadership programs, cohort-based learning journeys, and experiential learning.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in learning design, experience design, curriculum development, or talent development roles, harnessing strong learning design and content development skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, with experience designing interactive learning experiences such as workshops, instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led sessions, cohort-based programs, or blended learning journeys.
  • Experience creating facilitator guides, participant materials, learning activities, discussion-based learning experiences, or experiential learning solutions is an asset.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-workstream projects in a professional services or corporate environment, using project management and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and independently drive work forward in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge conventional approaches and develop creative solutions that meet business and learner needs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to drive successful stakeholder and client management.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.

It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have’s as well:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Experience designing leadership, capability-building, or strategic learning programs preferred.
  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National clients, bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
