Location: Toronto (GTA)
Our client is a well-established and growing commercial interiors organization seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the GTA. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex workplace and commercial furniture projects from kickoff through installation.
The organization has seen significant growth across large-scale corporate projects, particularly within the banking, insurance, and broader commercial sectors. With increasing project complexity and client expectations around onsite coordination, they are looking to add a strong, solutions-oriented PM who can confidently manage field coordination, installation logistics, and day-to-day project execution.
THE ROLE
The Project Manager will work closely with internal sales, operations, installation teams, trades, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on schedule, and to a high standard.
This is a highly collaborative role that blends traditional project management responsibilities with a strong onsite presence. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between client-facing coordination, technical problem solving, and field execution support.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage commercial furniture and workplace projects from award through completion
  • Coordinate project timelines, deliveries, installations, and field activities
  • Attend onsite meetings, including foreman and trade coordination meetings
  • Troubleshoot installation and site-related challenges in real time
  • Act as a liaison between field teams, installers, vendors, clients, and internal PM teams
  • Support project documentation, scheduling, and operational coordination
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations
  • Work alongside both client-facing and operations-focused team members to support overall project success
  • Maintain strong communication across all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Experience managing commercial furniture, workplace interiors, construction, or related projects
  • Strong understanding of onsite coordination, trade sequencing, and installation logistics
  • Comfortable working onsite regularly across the GTA
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience working with corporate workplace projects is considered a strong asset
  • Background checks and additional security clearances may be required depending on project scope

This role will support a variety of large-scale corporate workplace environments, including banking, insurance, and professional office projects.
