Job description

Position Summary

This role leads the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-impact education programs for both external customers and internal employees at DDS Lab.

The position owns curriculum strategy and execution across multiple modalities. These modalities include eLearning, live virtual training, recorded video content, and in-person classroom experiences, ensuring a cohesive and consistent learning ecosystem.

Partnering with internal subject matter experts (SMEs), this individual translates complex technical, clinical, and operational concepts into engaging, learner-centered experiences. This role also serves as a trainer/facilitator, delivering select programs and ensuring content is practical, effective, and aligned with real-world application.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Design & Strategy

  • Design and own end-to-end curriculum for both customer education and internal employee training programs
  • Build structured learning pathways across roles, competencies, and customer journeys
  • Ensure alignment between internal training and external education messaging, standards, and outcomes
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

Content Development

  • Develop learning experiences across:
    • eLearning modules (LMS-based platforms)
    • Live virtual training (webinars)
    • Recorded video content (micro-learning)
    • In-person classroom training
  • Create supporting assets including presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and reinforcement tools
  • Translate technical, clinical, and operational content into clear, engaging formats

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver select training programs (virtual and in-person) to internal teams and external customers
  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences that drive adoption, retention, and behavior change
  • Continuously refine delivery style and content based on learner feedback and outcomes

  • Design and develop content within common eLearning authoring platforms

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with SMEs, commercial teams, and leadership to define learning objectives and priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure content accuracy and consistency
  • Act as a bridge between clinical/technical expertise and learner needs

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
  • Continuously improve curriculum based on data and business needs
  • Maintain and organize training libraries and learning resources

Experience

  • 4-7+ years in instructional design, curriculum development, or corporate training
  • Proven experience designing education for both internal teams and external customers
  • Experience developing content across eLearning, virtual, and instructor-led formats
  • Experience in healthcare, dental, medical device, or technical industries preferred

Skills

  • Strong curriculum design and instructional design expertise
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar)
