Job description

Overview

Group 1 Buick GMC North is growing and looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales BDC Agent to be the "voice" of our sales department. Your primary goal is to turn inbound inquiries and outbound outreach into scheduled sales appointments. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building rapport over the phone, text, and Internet.

*Shift requirement: Monday - Saturday, 11am to 8pm. 5-days off, plus one additional weekday off, (5-day workweek).


Responsibilities

  • Respond to all online sales leads and inquiries within minutes.
  • Convert inbound and outbound calls into scheduled sales appointments and test drives.
  • Conduct a high volume of daily outbound touches, including cold calls, follow-ups, and re-engagement of past leads and inquiries, to keep the sales pipeline full.
  • Accurately document customer interactions in eLeads and utilize Podium and other communication tools to respond to leads via text and webchat in a timely manner.
  • Meet or exceed daily KPIs for call volume, appointment set rates, and appointment show rates.
  • Promote current sales specials, incentives, and inventory to generate interest and drive showroom traffic.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of BDC experience in automotive sales is preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of online leads alongside inbound and outbound call activity
  • Experience with eLeads and/or Podium is a big plus!
  • Strong phone, text, and email communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and consistently meeting or exceeding daily KPIs
  • Ability to multitask across phone, text, email, and CRM logging simultaneously
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the required shift: Monday through Saturday, 11am to 8pm
