We are seeking a an Assistant Activity Coordinator for our Adult Day Program at Catholic Eldercare! Join our fun program team and make a difference in our participants lives!

Schedule: This is a full time position that works Monday-Fridayย with scheduled hours being approximately 7:30am - 4:00pm.ย

About our community

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.


The Assistant Activity Coordinator will provide assistance to the activity coordinator in creating, planning, organizing, implementing and creating follow up on activites for programing. You will also be responsible for training, directing, and supervising program staff and volunteers. This position is also responsible for motivating and monitoring client participation in daily activities as well as observing and acknowledging any symptoms or changes to client behavior. You will be transporting clients to and from programs and out outings as needed. Additonally, our assistant activity coordinator will be providing personal care for participants and assist with daily activities and meals.ย 


  • 1 year+ hands on experience working with a population with various diagnoses including dementia, preferred
  • 1 year+ of supervisory experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • CPR, First Aid, & Airway Obstruction training orย willingness to obtain within 30 days.
