This role is entirely remote, allowing clinicians to conduct sessions from their chosen environments. HCA Wellness Center equips its counselors with the necessary tools and resources to deliver outstanding care via telehealth, including access to intuitive digital platforms for scheduling, documentation, and client interaction. You'll join a collaborative network of professionals dedicated to mental health excellence, supported by administrative staff who facilitate credentialing, appointment scheduling, and billing, allowing you to focus entirely on client care.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients ranging from adolescents to young adults, establishing rapport to foster trust and a therapeutic alliance.
• Facilitating regular one-on-one sessions to assess client progress, discuss treatment objectives, and determine the appropriateness of discharge as needed.
• Creating and maintaining detailed person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to better understand client histories and present challenges.
• Keeping accurate and timely documentation for each client, including progress notes and session summaries, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Participating in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure adherence to ethical standards.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive care.
• Embracing a growth mindset, seeking continuous professional development to improve therapeutic techniques and outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on youth and young adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your role is crucial in guiding these clients through their recovery journey by implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices and tailoring sessions to their specific needs. This hands-on experience will involve providing both individual therapy sessions and the potential to engage in group therapy settings, fostering a sense of community and support among clients.

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A strong foundation in meeting internal credentialing requirements applicable to telehealth practices.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience working with psychiatric patients and/or those with substance abuse issues.
• Proven experience in conducting clinical assessments, formulating diagnoses, and providing therapeutic interventions both individually and in group settings.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems and basic keyboarding capabilities.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working specifically with youth populations in diverse settings.
• Advanced training in specialized therapies or techniques that enhance client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
• Previous exposure to telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.
