As a Licensed Professional Counselor at HCA Wellness Center, your day-to-day tasks will encompass a variety of therapeutic activities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to tailor individualized therapy strategies that promote healing and growth.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to develop holistic care plans that address the complex needs of your clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, staying abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health.

Your expertise will support a diverse patient population, addressing mental health challenges faced by individuals and families with limited access to care. This includes a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of life and emotional stability of those you serve, helping them navigate their unique paths to recovery.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• Proven teamwork skills, with an emphasis on collaboration within health care teams.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use is highly preferred.
• A background in developing and implementing group therapy sessions would be advantageous.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
