Join the EK Machine Team
EK Machine is looking for a skilled and dependable 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment, facilities, and operations running smoothly. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues across our manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery to identify malfunctions
- Dismantle equipment to repair or replace defective components
- Install, align, and balance new equipment and replacement parts
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery components
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform maintenance on forklifts, facility systems, and equipment
- Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate or repair parts
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Identify and request replacement parts and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
What You Bring
- Two-year technical diploma OR 1-2 years related experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with tools and measuring instruments
- Basic math skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Physical & Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally
- Work in manufacturing environment with noise and varying temperatures
- Exposure to fumes, oils, chemicals, and outdoor conditions
- Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet
