Eissmann Group Automotive is growing in our Pell City location.
We are looking for motivated and dedicated Team Members to join our Team.

Most important task and responsibilities:
  • Understand the importance of his/her work and the impact it has on others (including the company).
  • Pre-inspect, position, and hand wrap leather (or other textiles) onto automotive substrates or assemblies with due caution and care that meet each jobs requirements.
  • Careful hand-trimming of parts using open razor blades, scalpels, cutters, etc.
  • Careful use of hand tools and equipment to prevent damaging parts and creating scrap.
  • Careful use of heat guns to activate adhesives to ensure sufficient bond of textile to substrate without damaging or burning component parts and creating scrap.
  • Inspecting leather (or other textiles) prior to build for unacceptable defects such as grubs, scars, discoloration mismatched grain, stitching errors, etc.
  • Massaging / finessing of leather (or other textiles) to work out wrinkles, bridging, and/or alignment of seams, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of all defect types that are beyond customer and internal boundaries thus ensuring each part produced meets acceptable quality standards before leaving the work station.
  • Any other duty assigned by the Group Leader, Supervisor, or Management
