Job Summary
The "Analyst, Business Application Technology" will be based in Dallas, TX reporting to our site Information Technology Manager at our Crown site. This role will be primarily working with SAP S4/HANA.
In charge of providing technical administrative and implementations holds up for one or more applications. Ensuring ITIL practices are followed diligently at all times. EIS implementation solutions, designed around the web. Methods product and align the IT services provided with the needs of the Business. While the primary focus is on the stability of the systems, architecting, design, installation and setup of the application/s are other core controls for this role
What a typical day looks like:
  • Diligently manage and coordinate all aspects of projects assigned to ensure proper design and solution.
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of the enterprise architecture.
  • Define, design, implement and holds up infrastructure & application solutions.
  • Prepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
  • Ensure knowledge pertaining to new implementations and technologies are adequately divided into the team.
  • Ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of the solutions, Service-Now incidents and Baan.
  • Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers and cross functional teams.
  • Adherence to Service level acceptance accord with the Business. Ensure timely reviews with stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper backup and retention polices are in place to ensure minimum data loss to the business in case of failures.
  • Ensure minimum 'MTTR (Mean time to Repair)' while fixing problems. Follow-up with proper root cause investigation, corrective & preventive actions with an aim to increase 'MTBF (Mean time between failures)'.
  • Ensure compliance of the systems w.r.t security and compliance requirements.
  • Propose system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  • Make final resolutions on administrative or operational matters and ensure operations' effective achievement of goals.
  • Review goals to set on success of operation, involved developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations(s) and may also have company-wide effect.
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of the enterprise architecture.
  • Work with EIS to hold up the team in order to ensure the knowledgebase built and managed as well as the team who holds up is trained on new and updated solutions.

What we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training, Computer, engineering or administrative or equivalent.
  • Typically requires 4 years of related experience.
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the function.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and comprehension of connections of such processes at the site.
