📍 Mauston, WI | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | 🏥 Med Surg / EICU RN – Days
Mile Bluff Medical Center is seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a day shift assignment caring for both Med/Surg and EICU patients. This position is ideal for a nurse who is comfortable managing a diverse adult patient population while adapting to varying acuity levels in a community hospital setting.
The RN will provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, IV therapy, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates must be comfortable caring for EICU patients in addition to traditional Med/Surg assignments.
Schedule:
Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
3 x 12-hour shifts per week
36 guaranteed hours
Every 4th weekend required
Every other holiday rotation
No call
Requirements:
Active Wisconsin RN License
Current AHA BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Med/Surg nursing experience required
Comfortable caring for EICU patients
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Unit Details:
Adult Med/Surg and EICU patient population
Meditech EMR
Fast-paced acute care environment
Collaborative multidisciplinary team
No call requirement
