Job Description

DPR Construction is seeking a Sr. Lead EHS Specialist - Core Market. This individual will create, consult on, and support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program objectives, providing technical expertise and guidance to leadership and stakeholders at various levels. This role will help shape complex risk management strategies, support compliance efforts, and develop solutions for specific projects, incidents, and operational challenges while promoting best practices across the organization.

The Sr. Lead EHS Specialist will model proactive safety leadership, partner with regional and business unit safety leads to drive accountability, and integrate emerging EHS trends, technologies, and data-driven insights into program development to support continuous improvement.

  • Implements best practices and guides project teams on comprehensive EHS programs.
  • Guides the organization in interpreting and applying complex regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Shapes risk management, crisis response, and strategic planning for safety and environmental matters.
  • Integrates advanced data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance program effectiveness and reporting.
  • Consults cross-functional teams in the design and rollout of enterprise-wide EHS initiatives.
  • Communicates significantly complex or in-depth regulatory and procedural EHS requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Champions a culture of excellence in EHS by architecting organizational capability-building strategies.
Qualifications

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

  • 8+ years of experience in EHS roles, including experience in program management or multi-site leadership within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a related field required.
  • OSHA 500 training.
  • Competent person, train-the-trainer, and other activity specific certifications.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office suite.
  • Oral and writing skills.
  • Degree in safety management or CHST certification a plus.
  • Manufacturing / pharmaceutical / OSHPD experience a plus.
  • Carpenter or laborer union affiliation okay.
  • Salary-based position.

Anticipated starting pay range:

$90,000.00- $130,000.00
