What You'll Do

As an EHR Systems Specialist, you'll serve as a key resource for providers and staff by supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.


EHR Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EHR support requests and workflow questions
  • Troubleshoot system issues and resolve user concerns
  • Escalate complex issues to Clinical Informatics leadership or vendor partners when appropriate
  • Document support requests and maintain accurate records of system changes.


User Administration

  • Configure user accounts and role-based access
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of EHR users
  • Maintain security settings and user permissions
  • Support auditing and monitoring of system access


Training & Workflow Support

  • Train new providers and staff on EHR functionality
  • Provide ongoing user education and workflow guidance
  • Assist clinical teams with navigation, documentation, and system best practices
  • Help improve workflow efficiency across departments


System Maintenance

  • Perform routine system configuration and maintenance
  • Update templates, preferences, and approved system settings
  • Support workflow optimization initiatives
  • Assist with testing and implementation of system improvements


Compliance

  • Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
  • Follow Ezra Medical Center policies and change management procedures
  • Support accurate documentation and the integrity of the medical record
  • Help ensure safe, compliant use of the EHR system throughout the organization

  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows and compliance requirements
