River Valley Counseling Services is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to become an integral part of our dedicated team. This full-time remote position allows you to engage with clients in a meaningful way, providing therapeutic support tailored to their individual needs. You will be responsible for assessing clients' mental health conditions and crafting personalized treatment plans that facilitate positive outcomes.

This position will be primarily remote, which offers flexibility while maintaining a strong clinical connection with clients. Our outpatient office setting supports virtual communication platforms, allowing you to utilize technology effectively to monitor patient progress. You will also have access to a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) system to streamline documentation and reporting.

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial consultations to evaluate each client's mental health status.
• Develop tailored therapeutic strategies and treatment plans that align with clients' goals and needs.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore and overcome their challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance use.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to additional healthcare providers, including psychiatrists when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in our EHR system.
• Engage in professional development and attend team meetings to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational goals.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, and familial issues. • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience working with various mental health conditions.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with remote counseling technology.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and confidentiality.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
