Job Summary
EMCOR Mechanical Services, an EMCOR Company, has an opening for a full-time experienced Information Technology Administrator in the greater Washington DC / Lanham, MD area. The IT Administrator will serve as a main point of contact on all IT related matters for two EMCOR entities; one located in Washington DC and the other located in Lanham, MD. Travel between the two sites is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Investigate and diagnose network problems.
  • Carry out routine configuration and installation of IT solution.
  • Develop project timelines and track project progress.
  • Evaluate and modify systems performance.
  • Maintain integrity of network, server deployment, and security. Maintain network servers.
  • Maintain network services for individual machines.
  • Use the corporate ticketing system to respond to IT requests.
  • Administer and manage telephone and voicemail systems

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with working knowledge of day-to-day IT Infrastructure and servers.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of management, employees, vendors and customers.
  • Must be highly trustworthy and be able handle confidential information.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License

  • Windows Server 2019 & beyond
  • Windows 10 / 11 experience
  • SCCM Admin and Imaging experience
  • Active Directory Domain & Group Policy Administration
  • MS Office 365 Administration
  • Intune MDM
  • iPhone and iPad support
  • Dell Hardware updating & servicing
  • Cherwell or other HelpDesk ticketing software experience
