Job Summary and Responsibilities
Acentra Health is looking for a Program Account Director Senior to join our growing team.
This is an onsite position, and requires that the candidate must live within a commutable distance from Montgomery AL, and be able to work onsite up to 4 days a week
Job Summary
As the Program Account Director, Senior you will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of system and operational activities for a large Medicaid/ MMIS program, assuring tasks are performed in accordance with service level agreements and managing the communication channels associated with internal and external and vendor stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Contract administration
  • Project management
  • Scheduling and provision of resources
  • Deliver formal communication and correspondence with the Agency and Quality Assurance as required
  • Ensure deliverables and operational milestones in updates to management and stakeholders
  • Serve as the key oversight of partners within the program; including ensuring partner (subcontractor) meets appropriate SLAs, client expectations, and billing
  • Prepare and maintain monthly operational reports required for delivery to client based on contract performance in operational areas associated to the management of the contract.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships within the Medicaid program organization
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow client programs.
  • Identify current and future service requirements by establishing personal rapport with key individuals who understand service requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Medicaid and healthcare industry and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors and partners.
  • Demonstrate the impact of company's services for cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Speak regularly with client to provide operational updates, product updates, technical support and other account-related reports.
  • Provides billing information to finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment from clients.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, public administration, or related
  • 5+ years of management experience in Government or private sector health care payer
  • Medicaid and MMIS development/system experience a must
  • Proven track record of effective skills in presentations, written and communications with all levels (staff, executive suite and external clients).
  • Proven history in successfully managing multiple projects/client contracts utilizing project management methodologies.
  • Candidates must live within a commutable distance from Montgomery AL and be able to work onsite up to 4 days a week

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare industry with concentrated experience in State Medicaid programs, and CMS guidelines
  • Possess excellent strategic planning and implementation skills.
  • Knowledge of Information Technology systems and applications.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in identifying appropriate business needs of client
