Job description

  • Become an expert on the company’s online diagnostic and instruction program and Common Core product for grades K-8
  • Coordinate on-site product training and professional development courses for teachers and school administrators
  • Adjust professional development workshops to fit participant needs within specified parameters
  • Deliver professional development on implementing Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning
  • Provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning and pacing support
  • Help educators analyze data and apply it to instruction
  • Work with leaders to identify implementation successes and challenges
  • Participate in internal professional improvement and development, including observation, feedback, and coaching
  • Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments promptly
  • Present a professional image to customers and prospects
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Professional Learning, sales team, and other Curriculum Associates professionals
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development
  • Experience teaching at the secondary (6–12) level is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K-8, or comparable state standards
  • Fluency with digital tools including online assessments
  • Comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development
  • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent computer and internet skills, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational cohort
  • Must currently live in or be open to relocating to the Montgomery, Alabama area
  • Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, and/or public transportation
