We believe diverse perspectives help both players and teams thrive. If you’re passionate about innovation and pushing entertainment boundaries, join our journey and help us create the unknown!

Job Description

The Esports Community Management Developer strengthens the relationship between Rainbow Six Esports, our professional player community, and our broader esports fanbase. This role sits at the intersection of esports, community, and editorial, shaping how we communicate with pros and fans, how we build trust over time, and how we turn structured feedback into clear actions and messaging.

You will own key programs and feedback loops for R6 Esports pro players, while also leading editorial execution for esports facing content such as blog posts, community updates, and video scripts in close collaboration with production and publishing partners. You will act as a trusted subject matter expert, advise leadership, mentor teammates, and represent the voice of pros and esports audiences internally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Rainbow Six Esports professional players on game related topics, Ubisoft account issues, and priority escalations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with pro players across regions, cultures, and individual needs.
  • Support studio activities involving pro players, such as structured playtests, workshops, feedback sessions, or similar initiatives.
  • Provide VIP style support when needed, including coordination on issue reporting, triage, and follow up with internal teams.

Pro Feedback Loops and Stakeholder Reporting

  • Own professional player feedback loops in collaboration with development and production teams, ensuring insights are captured, structured, and translated into actionable recommendations.
  • Deliver recurring reporting on pro player sentiment, key conversation topics, friction points, risks, and proposed actions.
  • Facilitate alignment between internal stakeholders, ensuring pro player communications and status updates are consistent and accurate.

Editorial and Content Leadership for Esports Audiences

  • Own and drive editorial execution for esports facing content, including long form blog posts, competitive updates, ecosystem explainers, and community guides.
  • Write scripts and narrative outlines for video content, including explainers, update formats, and community focused segments.
  • Create tactics guides and playbooks to improve retention, engagement, and advocacy among esports fans and competitive audiences, both in game adjacent and out of game.
  • Partner with publishing and production teams to build content plans that support brand strategy and seasonal priorities.
  • Ensure content is clear, accurate, and aligned with global messaging for the esports ecosystem.
Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Strong understanding of the Rainbow Six Esports competitive ecosystem and the needs of professional players and esports fans.
  • Expert knowledge of community processes and procedures, including handling sensitive topics with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong editorial judgment and writing skills, able to turn complex esports and game topics into clear, structured content.
  • Expertise in content creation workflows and social media management tools.
  • Solid understanding of data and situational analysis, and ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in fast changing environments, adapt quickly to new priorities, and operate with high ownership.
  • Proven experience in esports community management, pro player relations, editorial content, communications, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and ship high quality content, from long form articles to scripts and structured updates.
  • Strong cross functional collaboration skills and a track record of driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging professional players and internal partners.
  • Proactive and solutions oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams with strong organization and follow through.
