Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Consumer Advertising Specialist to join our team.  This individual identifies and leads projects, from conception through execution, for select marketing programs that generate consumer demand and increase book sales from Ingram's consumer audience. Manages advertising campaigns on behalf of company clients. Coordinates with internal and external customers and editorial/advertising teams to facilitate execution of paid advertising programs. Monitors marketing and sales results and adjusts strategy as needed. Develops and presents reporting on campaign and program results to publishers, internal clients and company leadership. Supports the development of new revenue generation programs for marketing books to Ingram's consumer audience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or year for year directly related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business-minded, analytical, and results-driven approach.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with marketing, advertising, and analytics tools including search, social, and retail ad platforms, and Excel (or demonstrated ability to learn similar tools quickly).
  • Multi-media marketing skills
  • Project-management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes marketing campaigns that support company and customer growth strategies.
  • Executes and manages advertising campaigns in Ingram iD, Walmart, Meta, Google and other advertising channels. 
  • Analyzes advertising and sales performance to achieve ROI goals and inform strategy. Makes recommendations on adjustments to improve marketing and sales results. 
  • Effectively communicates to key internal and external stakeholders around campaign status, KPIs, and recommended actions.
  • Supports the project management of marketing services execution, coordinating with key stakeholders and executing in relevant technologies. 
  • Works in various marketing systems to execute marketing initiatives, monitor campaigns, identify business opportunities, provide reporting, and evaluate relevant data.
  • Manages and tracks advertising and other marketing inventory

Hiring Salary Range: $65,244 - $82,466. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
