To thrive in editing positions, you need a solid grasp of grammar, style, and language mechanics, often supported by a degree in English, journalism, or communications. Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe InCopy, Microsoft Word tracking, and style guides like AP or Chicago Manual is typically required.
