Job Title

Advisor for Education and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS)

Job Description

You will serve as key advisor to Office of the Navy Surgeon General and the command, giving guidance throughout the organization on the implementation of Education and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS).

You will interpret legislation and broad DoD guidance to develop, review and coordinate Department of Navy policies and procedures for implementation of EDIS.

You will develop personnel training modules that lead to EDIS Specialist certification.

You will research, develop, prepare or revise written materials to include letters, memoranda, policy and guidance, issue papers, reports, etc. to be used by Navy Programs, in regard to provisions of services.

You will provide program leadership, management, oversight for all EDIS programs throughout the Navy.
