Job description

Overview

To improve organizational systems by providing strategic guidance, integrations, and tools to internal organizations to enable a deeper insight and systems maturity for the IT operation of integrated systems.

Responsibilities
  • Solves complex problems by bringing together a cross‑functional team utilizing the teams skills, knowledge and expertise to engineer the required solution. Formulates new value through understanding the integration of seemingly disparate components and communicates these ideas effectively and understandably to engineer the solution.
  • Provides technical consultation to determine operations feasibility of current and proposed solutions through analysis, problem definition, and requirements and solutions development.
  • Participates on critical and highly visible emergency situations to find solutions.
  • Ensures that the infrastructure across multiple applications aligns with the overall enterprise architecture goals to minimize rework and ensure assets are effectively and efficiently utilized.
  • Collaborates with Architecture, Engineering and Operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling and enhancing our products and services.
  • Collaborates with partner organizations to ensure high quality, adherence to standards and best practices, and scalable processes and deliverables for the purpose of maximizing system and resource availability.
  • Develops and incorporates methodologies to transition solutions and/or approaches to Operational Teams.
  • Strong understanding of Hubspot functionality, architecture, capabilities and overall best practices, with emphasis on Enterprise Sales Hub and Marketing Hub
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, System and Software Development or related discipline
  • Experience in a lead role in driving cross‑functional engineering teams from analysis through solution and developing junior level staff. Demonstrated experience in quickly assessing architectures to understand implementation design and usage patterns for improvement opportunity. Demonstrated experience and current working knowledge of developing software and/or designing systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in Systems or software development experience in designing, building and deploying highly scalable enterprise systems.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base pay range for this position is $127,190- $199,870 per year. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
