OVERVIEW

The ERP & EDI Support Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications. This role serves as a liaison between business users, trading partners, and technical teams to ensure reliable data exchange, system stability, and effective issue resolution..


RESPONSIBILITIES

EDI Support & Administration (60%)

Integration Support

  • Monitor EDI transactions and integration processes daily.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI data and transmission issues.
  • Support onboarding and testing of new trading partners and EDI mappings.
  • Validate inbound and outbound EDI transactions to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor FTP/SFTP connections and file transmissions.
  • Perform EDI data reconciliation and exception analysis.
  • Assist business teams with EDI-related questions and support requests.
  • Maintain EDI configurations, documentation, process flows, and support procedures.
  • Coordinate with third-party EDI providers, customers, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical partners.

Required EDI Knowledge

  • Understanding of XML, JSON, and flat-file data formats.
  • Basic understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Working knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, ASN, 850, 810, 856, etc.).
  • Experience with Power Query.
  • Experience with one or more EDI platforms such as:
    • Cleo
    • SPS Commerce
    • Boomi
  • Experience with Power Apps is a plus.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Support (40%)

ERP Support

  • Provide Tier 1 support for Dynamics 365 users.
  • Troubleshoot and identify ERP system issues and escalate to Tier 2 support when necessary.
  • Participate in system maintenance, upgrades, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Maintain ERP documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Support ERP change management processes and release activities.
  • Troubleshoot ERP-related printing and reporting issues.
  • Participate in ERP enhancement projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist Power BI analysts with data extraction, validation, and reporting requests.
  • Support users with training and system adoption efforts.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of EDI support, administration, or integration experience.
  • Experience supporting applications in a managed IT environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with:
    • Dataverse
    • Dataflows
    • Power Automate
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and integration protocols.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
    • Power Query
    • Data Analysis


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Cleo, SPS Commerce, Boomi, or similar integration platforms.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or supply chain operations.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and database concepts.
  • Experience with Azure integrations and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of EDI transaction sets:
    • 810 Invoice
    • 850 Purchase Order
    • 855 PO Acknowledgement
    • 856 ASN
    • 997 Functional Acknowledgement
