Role


The Customer Service Representative manages all Specialty and Retail replenishment.


Responsibilities


· Manages orders for Specialty and Retail accounts.

· Prepares and distributes weekly open order report to review order fill-rate, ETA, credit holds and cancellations.

· Communicates closely with sales and the customers on all issues involving order management, production and shipping issues.

· Performs all order maintenance, including order entry, reviews production, proactive in requesting extensions and communicates cancellations.

· Coordinates dropping tickets and shipping with the distribution center including timely resolution when issues arise.

· Works with Credit on any issues to releasing orders for shipping.

· Assures quality service for accounts by resolving service problems: (a) clarifies customer’s concern; (b) selects best solution to solve problems; (c) expedites correction; and (d) follows up with sales to ensure resolution.

· During office hours provides “live” service to accounts and salesreps; all phone calls and e-mails are answered in a timely basis—maximum 24 hour rule on returning all voice messages/e-mails.

· Reports weekly order risk to the financial target.

· Ability to build strong rapport with both internal and external customers.

· Strong interpersonal skills, confident in decision-making, goal driven, takes ownership and accountability in the workplace.


Profile


· Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3

· High School diploma

· Handles sensitive and confidential information, such as revenue targets and credit information.

· Experience with Excel; including Pivot tables helpful.

· Experience with EDI 850; knowledgeable in 856 helpful.
