Kings Command Foods has an opportunity available for an Inventory Clerk at our Versailles, OH, plant.

As an Inventory Clerk, you will: 

  • Record all production tests and work closely with the R&D department. 
  • Receive purchase orders; email information as needed. 
  • Verify inventory levels in the plant (Verification first, Count if negative) 
  • Set up new items/formulas in Canopy - Maintain inventory (receipts, transfers, and adjustments). 
  • Set up new customers in AS400 and maintain current customer shipping method data. 
  • Perform recalls/mock recalls with QA. 
  • Costing Rollup from Canopy to AS400. 
  • Enter cycle counts. 
  • Administer fiscal year-end inventory, cycle/physical count; assist 3rd-party auditor. 
  • Monthly balance of AP vs. Receivables (RMI). 
  • Provide customer service to all internal and external customers/orders. 
  • Maintain price list, EDI, carrier issues, delivery dates, and customer concerns. 
  • Verify all item prices with price lists and/or current bids. Verify all items are correctly coded and calculate the weight to ensure minimums are met. - Production Reporting. - Verify AS400 inventory to production receipts. 
  • Outside storage releases. 
  • Manage product transfers of materials (raw/finished goods). 
  • Month-end reporting (quarterly/yearly production reports). 
  • Assist with Purchasing Assistant and/or Packaging Inventory duties when needed. 
  • Order office supplies, copy paper, paper products, and forms.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to perform consistent, accurate work with minimal direction and work successfully as part of a team. 
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and assignments. 
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • High school diploma/GED. 
  • 1-2 years of office administrative, purchasing, or inventory control experience.   

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience using Canopy and AS400. 
  • Experience with EDI systems. 
  • Prior office experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
