Job description

Are you a hands-on communications engineer looking to work on mission-critical systems supporting U.S. military and government operations? Our client is a well-established, engineering-driven company specializing in the design and deployment of secure mobile communications systems used in defense and tactical environments. Their technology supports critical operations across multiple federal agencies, operating in some of the most demanding conditions worldwide. The Role We’re seeking a Systems Engineer (4G/5G LTE) to support a next-generation communications product line. This is a hands-on, lab + field role where you’ll be directly involved in: Integrating and configuring LTE/5G communication systems System provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting Supporting product development and validation in a lab environment Deploying systems in the field and supporting customer operations Participating in customer demos and technical discussions Collaborating with engineering teams to improve system performance This is not a purely theoretical role you’ll be working directly with systems from integration through real-world deployment. What They’re Looking For Experience with 4G/5G LTE systems (integration, configuration, provisioning, or testing) Background in systems engineering, telecom, or wireless communications Exposure to military, tactical, or mission-critical communications systems (radios, SATCOM, public safety LTE, etc.) Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on engineering mindset Ability to operate in both lab and field environments Work Environment & Requirements Location: Springfield, VA (5 days onsite) Travel: Required (CONUS & OCONUS) Security Clearance: Must be a U.S.
