Edelman is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Senior Marketing Manager to join our U.S. Marketing team.
Reporting to the Head of U.S. Marketing, this role serves as a flexible execution partner across the marketing function, providing high-quality support wherever business priorities require it most. This role works across campaigns, executive communications, thought leadership, partnerships, events, digital marketing, and internal communications to ensure projects move forward with pace, precision, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and can confidently shift between projects while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and exceptional execution. Success requires someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, naturally proactive, and able to independently drive work forward with minimal direction.
The Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of U.S. Marketing, as well as core members of the U.S. Marketing team, including its Events Lead and team, Thought Leadership & Media Lead, Awards & Case Studies Lead, and broader Global Marketing team, including the Performance and Digital Marketing team members and global marketing colleagues to help deliver Edelman's U.S. marketing priorities.
Responsibilities
Marketing Program Delivery
  • Execute priority U.S. marketing initiatives across campaigns, executive communications, thought leadership, partnerships, events, internal communications, and digital marketing as business priorities evolve.
  • Translate strategic direction into clear workplans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Flex across multiple marketing disciplines, providing execution support wherever additional capacity is needed.

Project Management & Execution
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and workback schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders, identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure projects continue moving forward without requiring additional prompting.
  • Coordinate deliverables across multiple teams while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Executive Communications & Content Development
  • Support the development and execution of executive communications including presentations, newsletters, internal announcements, Town Halls, and leadership updates.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials with strong attention to detail, editorial quality, and audience appropriateness.
  • Apply rigorous proofing and quality control across all marketing outputs.

Marketing Production & Digital Support
  • Support ongoing maintenance of Edelman's U.S. website, as needed.
  • Coordinate social media publishing and other digital marketing activities as required.
  • Support CRM campaigns, reporting, and campaign execution in partnership with performance and digital marketing specialists.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Partner closely with specialist marketing leads to execute integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Provide executional support for events, media campaigns, awards, partnerships, and other priority projects as business needs evolve.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency by developing templates, documentation, and repeatable processes.

Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, presentations, and marketing updates.
  • Track project status and ensure stakeholders receive timely updates.
  • Maintain organized documentation, trackers, and shared resources across the marketing function.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing, communications, or integrated marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with urgency, proactively follow through on commitments, and independently move projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written, verbal, and editorial communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment where priorities evolve quickly.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to flex across different marketing disciplines based on business needs.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns, events, executive communications, or thought leadership initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of marketing technology platforms, including CRM, website content management systems, and social media publishing tools.
  • Curious, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with a willingness to take on new challenges and continuously learn.
