Hiring Range

$20.40 - $26.55/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Overview
Work under the direct supervision of the Office Manager. Responsible for supervising front office team members to ensure optimum patient care and customer service. Office supervisor will maintain working knowledge of all front office positions so appropriate leadership and expertise can be give to team members. Maintain working knowledge of software and reports utilized in front office. Coordinate with office manager and physicians to maintain smooth office function.
What you will do
  • Demonstrates ability to respond positively to changing circumstances so as to maximize the opportunity or minimize the problem and keep morale high. Mentors and supervises work of front office team members.
  • Monitors staff time to ensure cost containment according to staffing schedule.
  • Assures that customer service is a focus of the practice. Uses information from patient satisfaction surveys to improve patient perception of care. Resolves concerns and responds to complaints related to care, access, and service.
  • Directs departmental operations on a day to day basis making appropriate decisions regarding the physician schedule and work in patients. Effectively organizes workflow.
  • Ensures all daily tasks and reports are completed in a timely manner. Maintains ability to support and provide coverage in any office position. Trains or coordinates training of new front office team members. Maintains working knowledge of insurance referral/verification process as well as working knowledge of correct coding procedures.
  • Maintains positive relationship with patients co-workers, managers, physicians and other members of the medical center system so as to promote efficiency and quality patient care.
