Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel position at an acute care hospital in Winchester, VA.

Details
  • Acute care hospital setting with 495 beds
  • Respiratory Therapy department serving the ED, Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU), and Step-Down units
  • Inpatient patient population with pulmonary disease and related conditions
  • Patient ratio of approximately 80:1, with 20-25 patients seen per round
  • Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12s)
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating required
  • EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification required
  • VA state license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required (AHA only); no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US SSN required
Additional Information
  • Scope of practice includes acute care and emergency department respiratory services
  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment of pulmonary disease, and pulmonary-related patient education
