The Vice President of Development is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of software development ecosystem. This role oversees all internal and external application development, automation initiatives, and emerging AI capabilities. The VP ensures that they deliver secure, scalable, high?quality applications that support organizational goals, enhance member experience, and advance the digital transformation.
The ideal candidate brings deep engineering leadership, strong Agile expertise, and hands on experience with UiPath RPA and Agentic AI systems, combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cultivate a high?performance, collaborative culture.
Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive software development and support strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish technology roadmaps, release schedules, and long?term architectural direction.
  • Integrate automation?first principles, including UiPath RPA and Agentic AI, into the development strategy to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure all development functions operate within a mature Agile framework emphasizing iterative delivery, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Software Engineering Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high?performing software engineering organization.

What you'll bring:
  • 5-8+ years of leadership experience in software development and engineering.
  • Strong Agile leadership experience, including coaching teams, scaling Agile practices, and leading Agile transformations.
  • 3+ years of experience with UiPath RPA, including design, deployment, and governance of automation solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing or overseeing Agentic AI systems and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Proven experience managing complex application portfolios and modern development environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior-level professionals, navigate complex conversations, and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences while coaching teams and leaders in Agile principles and collaborative behaviors.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and modern engineering practices, balancing innovation, risk, and operational stability.
  • Experience evaluating automation and AI use cases with a focus on compliance, security, and operational impact, and collaborating effectively with third-party vendors and partners.
