Location: The Woodlands, Texas

Amount of Travel Required: 75%

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Center and New Market Development Manager drives adoption and growth for Dynamis/AMP by developing and executing strategies in targeted markets, beginning with high growth segments such as data centers. This role leads market research, defines value propositions, and identifies partnerships, channels, and product requirements to support expansion.

Working cross functionally, the role aligns product, marketing, and commercial strategies while building customer relationships, influencing project specifications, and serving as a key point of contact to ensure customer success. The position also monitors market trends and competition, represents the company at industry events, and delivers insights to support sustained sales growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")

  • Drive Market adoption for Dynamis / AMP through conference attendance and speaking engagements at conferences and user events
  • Develop value propositions by focusing on 2 3 specific market segments, industries or applications beginning with Data centers which will provide growth opportunities in the region over the next 1 3 years
  • Conduct and supervise market research (both field and desk) to profile assigned market segments
  • Monitor changes in the markets as they reflect customer needs and develop strategies to drive sales growth
  • Follow competitive actions and drive closures within target markets
  • Develop and/or support the development of both technical and economic feasibility models and business plans
  • Identify and recommend partnerships with key players in the target markets to drive growth
  • Identify distribution channels and sales coverage requirements for target markets
  • Identify technical and commercial product and service requirements for target markets
  • Responsible for development and implementation of product, marketing, and commercial strategy in specific markets
  • Collaborate internally, cross functionally, with Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Finance and Legal teams to ensure success
  • Develop contacts and networks within target markets to drive sales and account growth from project specifications during initial engineering through procurement and project completion
  • Act as the single customer contact in specific markets to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Provide market intelligence on the target growth markets with a focus on end user trends and needs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or an applicable field required, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the Data Center Market, gas turbine and power generation required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales required; experience in product sales management preferred.
  • Utility and power generation IPP markets experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Financial acumen to support budgeting and performance tracking.

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior executives, stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Knowledge of power generations solutions.
  • Ability to work within cross functional team environments.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members, fostering a high performance culture.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods at a desk station. The role requires keyboarding and repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. The Employee must speak clearly and audibly, and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (e.g., building alarms) from in person speech, telephone, or remote communication. While in the office, the Employee may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Employee should be able to independently lift 25 lbs. No adverse environmental conditions are expected.
