The possibilities are unprecedented, opening the doors to unimagined operational strategies and business models.

With offices in both the US and UK, we are working in close collaboration with partners and customers across the space industry. Orbit Fab is rapidly ramping up capabilities and requires exceptional talent to tackle important challenges. Our roles offer wide ranging opportunities to have a demonstrable impact and enable a bustling space economy.

  • Work directly with the Business Development and Advanced Programs teams to execute strategic growth objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and assessments to inform business strategy
  • Research, monitor, and analyze federal and state government opportunities while developing targeted messaging strategies
  • Develop and support business development initiatives across commercial, civil government, and federal contracting markets
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, commercial companies, and industry influencers. Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable business opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment between business development activities and company capabilities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of business development experience in a professional environment
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience working within the aerospace or space industry
  • Proven experience leading proposal development and capture management processes
  • Associate's degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities that align with the companyโ€™s mission and long-term goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling business documents
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% of time for customer meetings, conferences, and business development activities
Nice to Have
  • Business development experience in government/Dept. of War
