Job description

The Opportunity

The Director of E-Commerce and Marketing will own and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy across multiple channels with a focus on digital/e-commerce, retail traffic generation, CRM, and performance marketing. This leader will drive customer acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and omni-channel revenue growth.

This is a unique opportunity to reinvigorate a nostalgic brand and marketing approach. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical rigor, creative instincts, and proven experience scaling digital programs for consumer brands — ideally within retail, QSR, gifting, promotions, or e-commerce-driven businesses. This person should be a strategic storyteller who is able to engage and grow audiences with an omnichannel approach.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a comprehensive, holistic digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business and revenue goals.

• Lead annual and quarterly digital planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Define KPIs and performance benchmarks across acquisition, retention, and conversion.

• Manage a team of 5-7 as a player/coach, able to get into the business as needed and understand multiple facets, including gifting, digital marketing, and social

Performance & Growth Marketing

• Own the P+L with a focus on e-Commerce and Catalogue

• Oversee marketing and media strategy (eComm, Catalogue, search, social, display, affiliate, programmatic).

• Optimize CAC, ROAS, and customer LTV across channels.

• Drive experimentation and A/B testing across landing pages, messaging, and funnels.

E-Commerce & Conversion Optimization

• Partner closely with digital and merchandising teams to optimize UX, conversion rates, and digital merchandising, promotions, and product placement to drive revenue and results.

• Improve site performance, mobile experience, personalization, and promotional initiatives.

• Leverage analytics tools to drive data-backed decision-making.

• Build gifting programs and promotions to drive results

CRM & Retention

• Lead email, SMS, and loyalty strategies to increase repeat purchases and engagement.

• Develop segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and personalization frameworks.

• Strengthen first-party data strategy and owned-channel growth.

Omnichannel Integration

• Drive digital-to-in-person traffic strategies.

• Understanding full brand and marketing with the ability to find opportunities for partnerships, promotions, and reinvigorating a nostalgic brand with a fresh lens.

• Support concession/retail locations with digital campaigns that increase local awareness and sales.

• Ensure cohesive brand messaging across digital touchpoints.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of digital marketing experience, including senior leadership roles out of CPG food/beverage brands, ideally from a challenger brand.

• Proven success scaling paid media and performance marketing in a consumer brand environment.

• Strong experience in e-commerce and DTC growth.

• Hands-on experience with Shopify, including site merchandising, product setup, promotions, app integrations, and performance reporting.

• Deep understanding of analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GA4, CRM tools, CDPs, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
