Role: Ecommerce Retail Integration Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ month C2H


 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Retail Integration Specialist to support our growing ecommerce operations. This contractor will play a key role in setting up, maintaining, and supporting integrations with major retailers and B2B partners. The focus is on ensuring smooth order flow, accurate data exchange, and reliable retailer connectivity across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support retailer integrations for Amazon, Target, and other B2B/retail partners
  • Handle new customer/partner setup and onboarding end-to-end
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions (orders, ASNs, invoices, inventory, etc.)
  • Support API-based integrations and data flows between internal systems and external retailer platforms
  • Provide day-to-day Order Management System (OMS) support, including exception handling and order status resolution
  • Work with planogram and assortment data as required by retail partners
  • Support tablet and scanner usage related to warehouse/retail operations
  • Maintain and improve processes involving web-based applications and retailer portals
  • Perform basic database queries and data validation to support integrations and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, IT, customer service) to resolve issues quickly.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and Target (or equivalent major retailers)
  • Solid working knowledge of EDI (standards, mapping, trading partner setup, error resolution)

  • Familiarity with Order Management Systems and order lifecycle support
  • Comfort working with databases (SQL or equivalent querying)
  • Understanding of retail planograms and assortment processes

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as a contractor
