Job description

BlueLinx is adding to National Accounts team - eCommerce Merchandising Specialist.  The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for significantly growing the Special-Order sales volume through Home Depot’s QuoteCenter, HomeDepot.com, Lowe’s Ecatalog, and Lowe’s.com. by adding new products and enhancing existing SKUs on their eCommerce platforms. The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist works with BlueLinx manufacturing partners, BlueLinx internal teams, and eCommerce/Special Order teams at Home Depot and Lowe’s to optimize product offering and content.

The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for the improvement of sales, traffic, and conversion rates through identifying and expanding product assortment, enhanced product content, promotions, and compliance. The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist focus is on providing ecommerce-merchandising support including collecting item attributes and marketing data; successfully publishing to Home Depot and Lowe’s platforms and working directly with Home Depot QuoteCenter team including managing the Brand Advocate program with Lowe’s.

KEY TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and maintains product assortment offering, content, pricing, and performance compliance for BlueLinx products across all eCommerce platforms: Home Depot QuoteCenter, HomeDepot.com, Lowe’s eCatalog, and Lowes.com.
  • Primary point of contact for all activities associated with Home Depot QuoteCenter and Lowe’s eCatalog.
  • Expands product offering through eCommerce platforms by collecting items and merchandising attribute information and successfully publish to Home Depot and Lowe’s.
  • Project manage the Lowe’s Brand Advocate program.
  • Supports Retail Excellence Team.
  • Analyzes key performance indicators to identify opportunities to improve the eCommerce experience and drive conversion.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Business from an accredited university OR related field industry experience.
  • 1-3+ years of experience working with QuoteCenter or/and eCatelog
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ideal candidate will have an interest in the eCommerce merchandising space.
  • Possesses strong analytical and data collection skills.
  • Basic understanding of merchandising principles.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; with advanced skills in Excel and proficient skills in PowerPoint and Word

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the position requirements and market data. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations.
