This position is in-office every day at our East Point location and must be available to work weekend and flexible hours, as needed.

About the Role: 

The Protein Repack Associate plays a hands-on role in the Atlanta Community Food Bank's mission to fight hunger by safely and efficiently repacking frozen protein items for distribution to partner agencies and families in need. This position works in a cold-storage environment and helps ensure food safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the repack process. 

What You'll Do: 

Repack Operations: 

  • Sort, portion, label, and package poultry and other items for distribution. 
  • Operate safely in cold and frozen environments while following all food handling procedures. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with food safety standards. 
  • Follow daily production goals and communicate any equipment or product issues to the supervisor. 

Quality & Safety: 

  • Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards. 
  • Follow HACCP and food safety protocols at all times. 
  • Assist with inventory checks and help track product movement from receiving to storage.

What You'll Need:  Skills and Experience your resume should demonstrate: 

  • Previous warehouse, food handling, or production experience a plus (not required). 
  • Ability to work in cold or frozen environments for extended periods.

  • Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work well in a team environment. 
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work. 
  • Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards. 
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
