General Warehouse Associate
Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temporary to Hire (Eligible for conversion after 400 hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team in Atlanta, GA. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on environment and have experience operating warehouse equipment.
The successful candidate will assist with moving, loading, and organizing materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely move palletized materials throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment (MHE).
- Operate an electric pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Accurately read work instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Experience operating an electric pallet jack or similar material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to speak and understand English for safety and communication purposes.
Hiring Requirements
- Federal and county background check required.
- 4-panel drug screen required.
- I-9 and E-Verify completion required before starting.
- Candidates must successfully complete all pre-employment requirements.
