Job Description
• Provide technical design for development tasks
• Plan migration sequence with the help of Architect
• Define Data Migration approach (customer, product, catalog etc.) with the help of Architect
• Participate in the daily onsite and offshore calls and ensures offshore complies to the design and code standards and process
• Review the entire design and code of offshore and provides comments at the appropriate stage of the project
• Address technical issues and challenges.
• Hands-on development as needed
• Perform merchant support functions lie setting up promos, content, couppons, products, banners, landing pages etc.
• Provide technical guidance around current Operational, Support, QA and Release Management processes with Vendor SMEs
• Work with the eCom PM / Solution Strategist / Functional Lead at Onsite for the agile activities.
• Support the eCom Demandware Tech Architect in Build and Release Management activities
• Support the eCom Demandware Tech Architect in Code Branching strategy
• Leverage the Demandware assets and solutions wherever applicable (few examples - Single page checkout, Content migration utility etc)
Qualifications
Must Have Skills:
• Must have Demandware implementation experience
• Excellent Communication and customer facing skills
• Experience with merchant tools and functions like business manager
Desired Skills:
• ECommerce Domain Experience
• Experience in scripting skills
• Full stack development including front-end and back-end
