Job Summary:
eCom Solutions Inc is a company focused on managing enterprise projects for data platforms. The Data Platform Program Manager will lead end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring compliance with policies and managing cross-functional teams for data replication and platform modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
• Create project plans, schedules, and milestones
• Estimate budgets, resources, and effort
• Identify dependencies and risks
• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery for data replication from on-prem sources to cloud warehouses ( like Snowflake) and platform modernization initiatives including Storage upgrade, containerized Db2 upgrade in OpenShift ecosystem .
• Manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, risks, budgets, and timelines while ensuring compliance with Truist policies and financial regulations.
• Oversee vendor coordination, status reporting, issue resolution, and value realization for enterprise-scale initiatives in data movement.
Qualifications:
Required:
• PMP or SAFe certification
• expertise in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall
• Project Management tools - MS Project, Rally
• 6+ years experience with complex Data governance related projects
• 1 level deep in Knowledge of data replication (e.g., EDL tools, IIDR/CDC, Kafka, Snowflake)
• knowledge of databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL)
• knowledge of cloud (Snowflake, AWS)
• knowledge of OpenShift
• Understanding of financial services data governance
