Outpatient Part-Time Evening Adolescent Eating Disorder Therapist
Location: High Focus Centers, Paoli, PA

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Evening Adolescent Eating Disorder Therapist to provide specialized, developmentally-informed care within our outpatient eating disorder program. This role focuses on supporting adolescents struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns in a structured and therapeutic setting.


Schedule

Part-Time | 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM | 4 evenings per week


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions for adolescent clients diagnosed with eating disorders and related co-occurring conditions.

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families.

  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities appropriate for adolescent eating disorder populations (e.g., CBT, DBT skills, Family-Based Therapy (FBT), motivational interviewing).

  • Provide psychoeducation to families regarding eating disorders, recovery expectations, and relapse prevention strategies.

  • Monitor client progress, support meal-related interventions as clinically appropriate, and coordinate care with medical providers when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards.

  • Communicate professionally with families, referral sources, schools, and multidisciplinary team members.

  • Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and safety planning as needed.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to support continuity of care.


Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field with completion of a clinically based internship/practicum (required).
