Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive therapeutic services to clients, focusing on individual, family, and group counseling sessions. You will help clients identify challenges, explore solutions, and develop coping strategies tailored to their unique needs.
  • Utilize our cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to document client progress and facilitate effective treatment planning while ensuring compliance with all insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities offered by Heritage Counseling Center to stay updated with the latest best practices in mental health.
  • Maintain documentation and treatment plans in line with ethical and professional standards, ensuring that client confidentiality and safety are paramount in all interactions.
  • Work closely with clients facing various challenges, including mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnoses, while fostering a supportive and empathetic environment.
  • Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives as needed to promote awareness of mental health resources and the importance of seeking help.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, offering services to individuals of all ages grappling with a variety of mental health issues. This includes adolescents, adults, and families, ensuring that everyone receives individualized care. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
