Heritage Counseling Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated mental health team in a fully remote capacity. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life seamlessly. You will work with a cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, which supports compliance with various insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality mental health counseling services to a diverse clientele through individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client, ensuring the identification of their problems and solutions while maintaining their confidentiality and safety.
  • Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic approaches to assist clients in managing symptoms related to trauma, mental health disorders, or dual diagnoses.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies, ensuring compliance for billing and care continuity.
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision to discuss cases and enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals grappling with various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Home office setup with a reliable laptop or desktop, high-speed internet, and a web camera for effective telehealth sessions.

  • Completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
