Job description

Avenues Recovery Center on the Eastern Shore is Now Hiring: RNs & LPNs - Days, Evenings and Overnight Shifts.

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Nurses (RN/LPN) to join our team in Cambridge, MD. Whether you're experienced in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, LTC, or simply looking for more meaningful patient care, we welcome your application.

At Avenues, nurses play a vital role in helping individuals begin recovery in a safe, supportive, and highly structured medical environment.


What You'll Do

  • Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
  • Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
  • Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
  • Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
  • Provide patient education in individual and group settings

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
  • Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
  • Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
