Job Summary
This is a General Labor position with multiple job duties essential to daily operations in the erosion control division for Greenrise Technologies. The Crew Member-Driver is responsible for completing the physical installation of silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and other erosion control services on both residential and commercial sites, along with driving a work truck to and from the worksite. Responsible for taking direction from the Crew Leader to complete work as assigned in the most efficient manner. You may utilize vehicles, hand tools, and some equipment to complete your work each day. We are also looking for more experienced individuals that could serve in a Crew Leader role, with a preference for clean driving records.
Duties amp; Functions
Go over the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning.
Drive Company work truck to and from worksites, obeying traffic laws.
Represent Greenrise Technologies in a professional manner to customers and homeowners at all times.
Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and Greenrise Technologies quality.
Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed.
Install all erosion control products to the specifications of your crew leader’s direction.
Communicate effectively with operations managers and fellow crew members.
Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew’s silt fence installation output.
Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are taken care of and inspected properly.
Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns utilizing the proper chain of command.
Requirements
Qualifications amp; Standards
A valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record (Required)
Ability to listen well and follow directions.
Strong problem solving and communication skills working as part of a team.
A commitment to customer service and ability to represent oneself in a professional manner.
Reliable and punctual attendance
Physically fit and able to work long days outside in the elements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic ability to read and write legibly.
High character, honesty and integrity essential
Must be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision at times.
Ability to consistently utilize good judgement and make sound decisions.
Ability to take initiative and proactively seek continued performance improvement.
Experience working with tools and equipment specific to erosion control installations (preferred)
Experience pulling a trailer (preferred)
Must have a reliable cell phone.
