Nature & Purpose of Position
The Sam Houston State Athletics Broadcast office is seeking students who are interested in working in all aspects of video productions for the departments 17 sports.
Students will work with the production staff in producing games for ESPN and the Bearkat Sports Network. Duties will include directing, graphics, replay operator, audio, camera for both games and studio shows.
This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of college video production. Responsibilities may change at the discretion of supervisor.
The job will primarily include nights, weekend, and holiday work at campus athletic venues.
Other Requirements for the Position
Pursuit towards a degree in mass communications are not required, but is preferred.
