Job description

IT Project Coordinator - Onsite in Joliet, IL

We're hiring a Project Coordinator to support the City of Joliet’s high-profile ERP implementation of Tyler Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EP&L), formerly known as EnerGov.

This is a 12-month full-time contract with the potential to convert to a direct-hire. The work is hybrid, onsite in downtown Joliet, IL, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with some flexibility.

Role

  • Maintain project schedules, task lists, RAID logs, dashboards, and status reports
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items
  • Support requirements gathering, testing cycles, and data migration
  • Assist with change management, training, and project communications
  • Maintain documentation and support project-governance requirements
  • Partner with vendors, functional leads, and IT teams to track deliverables and resolve issues
  • Provide coordination support for other IT projects as needed

Required

  • 1+ year of experience coordinating or managing an ERP implementation
  • Foundational knowledge of ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft, Tyler, SAP, or Workday
  • Strong experience with project-management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or Asana
